To be quite honest, I think this is one of the most inspiring songs Alicia ever put out.
It takes a lot of strength to do what she says in the lyrics, but I believe this song should be a lesson for all of us! Cause when it comes to love, we should all let ourselves go, and make even the hardest sacrifices.
Alicia reminds us that no sacrifice should ever be too big enough once you’ve found true love. With true love, everything in the past becomes unimportant and blurry, it doesn’t matter who you had before him or her, nor does it matter how everything else ended, cause once you’ve found that special someone, all that matters is the love you share.
And I know that what other people think shouldn’t be important, but Alicia also reminds us that when you’re in love, the only opinions that should be taken into account are his and hers.
Thanks Alicia for such a lovely song!
(By the way, I got the gutts to ask the guy I like out after listening to this song on repeat. He said yes! We’ll have our second date next week
